Dr. Donald V. Doell joined our team in 2013. He is a Fellow of Internal Medicine in both Canada and the US, with over 30 years of academic appointments in hospital and university settings. He has specialty training from McGill University in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine and holds an MSc in Epidemiology and Health. He has held roles in the Department of Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, serving as the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine and Chief of the Department of Emergency and General Medicine. He was also involved in Emergency Clinical Trials in Migraine, Infectious Diseases, Cardiac Arrythmias and Research in Clinical Decision Processes. In 2003 Dr. Doell joined Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg working in Internal Medicine and the ICU, and established a Pulmonary Function Lab. In addition to helping with patient Air Transport, he served on the hospital boards of both Royal Victoria Hospital and Northumberland Hills Hospital. He serves on the board of the Consortium of Canadian Centres for Clinical Cognitive Research (C5R.ca) and is a Qualified Investigator for our clinical trials.
